K1 - K2 Horizons

Horizons is a spiral-based learning curriculum, allowing students to gain confidence as concepts are introduced in bite-sized pieces. As lessons progress, the complexity of a concept gradually increases and students build new comprehension upon established learning blocks. The Horizons curriculum has a 30-year history of unrivalled success. Building confident learners in English and Maths.Teachers are constantly monitoring each student’s academic and overall performance. Parents form close bonds with the teachers, ensuring adequate support and encouragement for these foundational years.

When children gain confidence in a subject -matter, the prior “dislikes” can be easily converted to “likes”. It is natural to stay away from things that are unfamiliar.

Eduseeds International

With the Eduseeds curriculum designed as a mastery-based curriculum, students focus on one concept at a time. A student progresses as his/her competence and mastery of the material grows. Every section and module test is graded at a minimum 80% passing score;this ensures adequate understanding and interaction of material.

Eduseeds is a very complete program, thus relieving parents of the need for additional tuition. Students who follow the program well have performed exceptionally well in their IGCSE exams, securing A’s and A+s confidently without the burden of tuition classes.

Teachers ensure that students’ progress are charted and parents are kept informed of their daily progress. Students develop the habit of setting daily achievable goals before class begins and updates his/her progress throughout the day.

Pure Science subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology are introduced as early as Grade 6, a key factor contributing to the success of many students with these subjects.

Never remove curiosity from a child. Inbuilt in that inquisitiveness is great potential for creativity and exploration and the desire to learn.

Papers are scored against exam rubrics to ensure compliance. Feedback is given to students to determine areas for improvement.

While we are not professionally trained to teach students with special needs, we had been very successful with the current students with our classes whom have ADHD, dyslexia and/or autism.
